Project-based pricing is better

Don't bill by the hour. Bill by the project: "YouTube video edit (10-minute final, color correction, motion graphics): $400."

You know the scope. Client knows the price. No surprises. If they want extra graphics or effects, those are add-ons.

Define your revisions

Include 2 revision rounds in your base price. After that, $50 per round. This stops clients from asking for 47 tiny tweaks that each take 15 minutes.

Rush fees are non-negotiable

48-hour turnaround? 1.5x price. 24-hour turnaround? 2x price. You're rearranging your schedule. Invoice it.
