Simpler Invoices (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates simplerinvoices.com. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have.
Information we collect
- Email address — collected when you sign in via magic link and when you complete a purchase.
- Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
- Usage inputs — the business names, client names, line items, and notes you enter to generate invoices are sent to our AI provider (OpenRouter) to generate your results. We do not store these inputs.
- Authentication cookies — used to keep you signed in across sessions. Managed by Supabase Auth.
How we use your information
- To authenticate you when you sign in.
- To verify your subscription when you use the tool.
- To process your payment via Stripe.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Third-party services
- Stripe — payment processing. Subject to Stripe's privacy policy.
- Supabase — authentication and data storage. Used for magic link sign-in and tracking generation usage.
- OpenRouter — AI model API. Your generation inputs are sent to generate invoices. OpenRouter's privacy policy applies to this data.
- Vercel — hosting. Standard server logs (IP, request path, timestamp) may be retained by Vercel per their policies.
Data retention
Your email address and authentication data are retained to maintain your account. Subscription and generation records are retained to enforce usage limits. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing us. We will respond within 30 days.
Children
This service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
