Simpler Invoices ("we", "us", or "our") operates simplerinvoices.com. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have.

Information we collect

• Email address — collected when you complete a purchase, used solely to send your access link.
• Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
• Usage inputs — the business names, client names, line items, and notes you enter to generate invoices are sent to our AI provider (OpenRouter) to generate your results. We do not store these inputs.
• Session token — a unique token stored in your browser's localStorage to verify your access. No cookies are set.

How we use your information

• To deliver your access link after purchase.
• To verify your session when you return to the tool.
• To process your payment via Stripe.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Third-party services

• Stripe — payment processing. Subject to Stripe's privacy policy.
• Resend — transactional email delivery. Used to send your access link.
• OpenRouter — AI model API. Your generation inputs are sent to generate invoices. OpenRouter's privacy policy applies to this data.
• Vercel — hosting. Standard server logs (IP, request path, timestamp) may be retained by Vercel per their policies.

Data retention

Your email address is retained to allow access link recovery if requested. We retain Stripe session IDs to verify purchases. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing us. We will respond within 30 days.

Children

This service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
